We’ve been to Physique Creche Soft Play and Party Zone in Darlington this morning to check out the soft play with Leo and Harvey.
We went today just to use the softplay and have a cuppa. With it just being a small play frame and with a secure door near the exit so they can’t escape, it’s good for little ones. There was a decent sized baby toddler section with plenty of toys as well as a play frame for toddlers/young children.
At the time of us visiting it cost £3.50 for under 2s and £6.50 for over 2s (over 2s includes a free kids meal). It’s worth a visit if you want a softplay that’s a bit quieter and you can keep an eye on them easily whilst catching up with friends and family. Older siblings are welcome too up to the age of 10 but I personally think it’s more suited to babies/toddlers and children who prefer a smaller play structure and less hectic environment.
CRÈCHE-
The crèche sessions also run alongside this which you can book your children into whilst you head over to the gym for a session. The crèche is ran by the soft play manager, Samantha who has lots of years experience working with children. 🕣Opening hours;
The crèche option is for whilst you head to the Physique Health Club over the road, and it runs at certain times and days and some days are subject to numbers. The softplay is also only open certain hours and days alongside the crèche opening hours.
🚘 🚌 Parking and Public Transport-
The only difficulty you may have is parking as there’s not many spaces outside the building although we did manage to get parked and there were a few people already parked that were using the crèche facility, so it might not be too bad. You can also get the X67 bus from the town centre to Lingfield point that stops nearby.
🌈OTHER SERVICES-
They also run a playgroup on a Thursday morning for only £1 and have special events and celebration party options to book too 🤗
